Cross-cultural personality research using the IPIP Big Five dataset (N = 1,015,342; 100+ countries). Examines country-level variation in Conscientiousness and Neuroticism using multi-level models, with implications for diaspora mental health and culturally-adapted wellness interventions. Presented at the CCIR Student Research Symposium, King's College, University of Cambridge (July 2026). Award presented by Dr. Barry Barish, Nobel Laureate in Physics.

Neuroswab

A novel diagnostic approach for early detection of Alzheimer's disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment, grounded in the anatomical relationship between the olfactory epithelium and the entorhinal cortex โ€” the earliest site of Alzheimer's tau pathology (Braak & Del Tredici, 2011). The research investigates nasal secretion biomarkers, including lactoferrin and phosphorylated tau species, as non-invasive indicators of neurodegeneration โ€” an approach validated in peer-reviewed literature (Nature Aging, Bonham et al., 2021).

๐Ÿ”ฌ Seeking Research Mentor Guidance

I am an independent student researcher actively seeking guidance from faculty, clinicians, or lab directors working in neuroscience, biomarker science, or Alzheimer's diagnostics. Specifically, I am looking for mentorship on:

  • Human nasal secretion sample collection protocols and best practices
  • ELISA methodology for low-abundance biomarker quantification in mucosal fluids
  • IRB/ethics protocol development for non-invasive sample collection studies
  • Access to deidentified nasal secretion samples from MCI/AD and age-matched healthy cohorts
  • Guidance on experimental controls for distinguishing neurodegeneration-related biomarker elevation from confounds (e.g., inflammation, rhinitis)

I am not seeking funding โ€” only expert guidance, lab access, and the opportunity to conduct rigorous validation work under proper scientific supervision.
